We are seeking a skilled QA – Manual Test Engineer with 5-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in a leading service-based IT company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, exceptional logical reasoning skills, excellent communication abilities, and a good grasp of scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
Identify, document, and track defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of software applications.
Utilize logical reasoning to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to convey testing progress, issues, and results.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on completeness and testability.
Uphold knowledge management practices to facilitate knowledge capture and sharing.
Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test cases, scripts, and reports.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in manual testing.

Key Skills and Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-6 years of experience in manual testing, preferably in a service-based IT company.
Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting.
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
