QA – Manual Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA – Manual Test Engineer with 5-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in a leading service-based IT company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, exceptional logical reasoning skills, excellent communication abilities, and a good grasp of scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure product quality.

– Identify, document, and track defects and work with development teams to resolve them.

– Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of software applications.

– Utilize logical reasoning to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues.

– Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on completeness and testability.

– Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to convey testing progress, issues, and results.

– Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test cases, scripts, and reports.

– Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

– Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in manual testing.

Key Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

– 5-6 years of experience in manual testing, preferably in a service-based IT company.

– Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

– Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting.

– Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
